Jaye Reid:
What is your why?: I first began to exercise to lose weight but now that has shifted to improving my fitness levels in both stamina and strength
How does exercise make you feel?: Confident and empowered. Knowing what my body is capable of gives me a feeling accomplishment and pride in myself I didn't really have before
Because of exercise ‘I can’: Clean out my closet of clothes that are now too big for me
What would you tell other women who are struggling to find the confidence to exercise?: The first step in starting excercise is always the hardest but you should be proud that you are making that step to better yourself. Lydia's classes are a safe space full of support and encouragement where it's ok if you are just starting out.
I have a love hate relationship with this exercise: Burpees, I'll learn to love them one day.
In one year from now on my fitness journey, my goal is to: Have better balance, less injuries, and to be able to run 5kms

Korey Peckham:
What is your why?: I exercise to improve my overall health both physically and mentally.
How does exercise make you feel? Good about myself. It puts me in a positive mood, gives me a sense of achievement. Which makes me feel more motivated to keep going.
Because of exercise ‘I can’:
Sleep better. I now wake up feeling refreshed. I was never a morning person before exercising.
What would you tell other women who are struggling to find the confidence to exercise? Be kind to yourself, we are all unique and different. We’ve all started at day 1. Stay consistent. Find something that works for you, make it fun if you need to. Reward yourself for your small and big wins. Love yourself.
I have a love hate relationship with this exercise: Dead bugs.
In one year from now on my fitness journey, my goal is to: Complete a set of standard push ups.
